The Marquesas Village
Marquesas people have a very unique musical number, I wish I can record them! I did some but can't upload on this blog, because it doesn't support (or maybe just I don't know how to use it..Haha. But these guys were AWESOME! and I KNOW THE GIRL! Just forgot her name.. **my bad**
This is the closing show...NICE!
The Samoan's Village
I remember this one!! This guy is AWESOME! Guess what was he doing?? He was using 2 wild hibiscus tree trunk (a big log and a smaller stick), scrubbing them on each other, and the smoke starts coming out from the bigger log! THEN he uses this dried coconut on it, then smokes starts coming out from it!! and POOF!! THERE WERE FLAMES!!! and HE MADE FIRE!! Everyone there was like "WOW"!! Amazing huh!
Okay can anyone tell me what you see in this picture??
The Canoe Dances.
I can't remember which Island these canoe dancers are from but took some pictures of them. Although you can't see the dances, but observe their clothings, they are different. And let me tell you something, these awesome dancers are all students of Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Thanks to all the tourist that comes to the Polynesian Cultural Center, the money they paid and will be paying, will all be transferred to the University, so that it can be use to sponsor students who want to better their education. And I am so proud to be part of this.
